I've found that in rhat 5.2 and in 6.0 the mtools don't work correctly(well they don't work
in any way that I can figure out). Specifically that mdel a: will no longer erase all files on fd0,
in fact no globals get recognized and I can only delete by exact file name. I erased mtools
from /usr/bin and deleted all the soft m... command files.
I then copied a mtools binary from an older slackware system and recreated all the softlink
m... commands. This works fine. But how do you get the mtools installed with redhat to
work???
