someone in his company spoke with a pal with Freeport in Denver who said the next
hole results released will also indicate insignificant gold. This runs contrary to a
previous rumour that said the next assays would confirm Bre-X's results."

.....Quite simply if this rumour is true, it tells all. The assays are not done but Freeport has already decided they will show no gold, and here is why.
No matter which side of the fence you are on, BXM/GOLD or FCX/NO GOLD, YOU WILL ALL AGREE, WHOEVER SCREWED UP IS RUINED, FINISHED. With 6 or 7 lawsuits already filed against Bre-X, you can be sure there are many more waiting in the wings to see which party to sue. Either way one of them is ruined. If Bre-X scammed they will be sued. If Bre-X is vindicated the suits will be promptly dropped, and filed against FCX. FCX is ruined. Now, FCX,Hassan, and Suharto are all in bed together, well known documented fact. FCX has been lining Indonesian pockets for years. Bre-X hasn't lined any yet. So who do you think gets ruined. FCX according to the above rumour has already decided. So have I now. Before you say "yeah, but there are others there to verify" remember how big this is and where it is. That kind of money, coupled with a few well placed threats buys a lot of silence. IMHO its over for BXM regardless what Busang has. Hell the repercussions for FCX and Suhartos pocketbook are so great that they could well just say nothing there and forget about it, just walk away and leave it in the ground, and suharto has the power to keep everyone away after the fact. Let BXM get creamed and move on. Indo is rich. There will be other blood to suck.
