I wouldn't make any real judgements on competitive situation until we see the reception of 8850, 8860 and 7110; all of which ship during 4Q.

Haven't seen the 8850 and 8860, but the 7110 is already available in Kuala Lumpur for about US$1,200. It's being sold at CompAsia (the equivalent of CompUSA, I suppose) outlets. So far, I've heard one major complaint: it's slow at 14.4kbps. I wonder how long before the speed picks up. I thought I read on some previous posts that speeds of up to 100kbps were already possible with GSM. Is the speed limited by the phone or the telco's equipment?
