I know from my experience I learned hard way, and that's the best way. I lost a pile, a very large pile of money on pump and dump stocks. But now I have learned and do my own DD.

I don't rely on anyone, when it comes to my money, that's too damn dangerous. I have met a lot of people that I would never have met in the last 44 months I have been in the market. I have seen sides of people I never want to see ever again, people I thought had my interests in mind, but they were con men.

There are so many resources out there to find almost any info you need to do proper DD on a company. You just have get off your butt and look.

On the job training is the best training you can ever have. You have too see and experience it for yourself.

So I would say to anyone getting in the market, read all the info you can, and NEVER EVER rely on anyone. It will cost you.
