Hi Gary,

I absolutely agree-my point (badly made, I guess) was that this is increased competition for BRCM's existing networking business, not that it is competition for the IBM & INTC network processors. It is not restricted to voice and video-this gives TI the ability to go after BRCM's 10/100 business, where their all-digital PHY (also DSP-based) has given them their key competitive advantage.

BTW-want to put a side bet on the Bruins vs the Bucks?
