I trade for a living but after I retired last year from the brokerage firm, after 11 years in the business, to trade at home at the age of 33, I found it very boring and missed the interaction of traders around me. I decided to build myself a little site so that other technical traders could gather and hang out with me - purely a selfish motivation. It is very boring sitting here for 6.5 hours a day waiting for two setups in the S&P futures and the site keeps me from doing trades out of boredom - more selfish reasons...

Most people don't find my site useful since they'd rather be told what to do instead of learn how to trade, so the question of increasing readership is a non-issue. What I have gotten out of my site are a hand full of very good traders to trade with, and the goal from that standpoint has been achieved; however, for whatever reason, many novice traders have showed up, and they keep asking about stocks, so whenever something timely comes up, I post them to SI since people like to see stocks and their set ups as opposed to S&P or T Bond futures.

At the risk of posting more "spam", here's the scoop -

intelligentspeculator.com

Yes, the site is built by professionals and it is maintained by professionals. I am only a trader, not a computer programmer.
