Hi all:

Hard to predict how IMPX will do, fundamentally. According to my model , their revenues are still 65% NON-ZIP related. However, they (and I) believe that they can keep up with IOMG demand for chips short-term by outsourcing to DRAM fabs (plenty of room there!). Sometime after this year, IOMG will turn to secondary sources of chips, but you don't want to just pop anyone's chip in a Zip !!!

Bottom line: My estimate calls for 5.6M chips to be shipped this year to produce the 5M Zips that I estimate will ship (note: this is on the high-end of IOMG's internal forecasts from what I hear). Anyhow, taking the average selling price of these chips into account, then adding in non-Zip related revenues, etc., etc., etc., I come up with a 1996 estimate of 120M in revenues and 17.7M in pre-tax income for IMPX this year. Hardly equates to a strong buy, but definately equates to strong growth. Their other product do well also, but the picture is still VERY hazy.

My two cents,

m.
