"BTW, can you explain the relationship between Medina Mining and Medinah Gold?"

There use to be Medinah Energy. It had quite a number of properties all over Chile plus rights to the Dayton Mining lawsuit. Back in May, a dividend was issued consisting of shares in Medinah Gold-a private company that will become public within 6 months or so. Alto de Lipangue had been payed for and was the chief object of the Majors-little market value was given to the other properties. Medinah management wanted to maintain value in these other properties so somebody came up with the idea to split the company in two. Medinah Gold consists of everything that was Medinah Energy minus Lipangue claims.

Medinah Gold has properties such as some very nice placer properties, the Catan vein, Andicollo properties, the rights to the Dayton suits, and some others.

In regards to the effect of the financing package-short terms effects will be extremely positive-you are correct in thinking that long term value will only be maintained by a sucessfull new drill program. Cheers.
