I have been attributing its weakness of late to the time of the year. By now, I would have thought we would have turned the corner, but then we hit this Greenspan thing and then the interest rate hike and its associated correction and then... Oh well, you get the idea. I suppose that from a TA standpoint, it has hit a resistance level between 35-36 on several occasions dating back to mid summer '96. As a long term play, however, it's hard to argue with the company's competitive position or its strong cash position. Maybe they will find themselves compelled to extend the scope of the buyback given how much cash they have kicking around. I wouldn't mind that... Regards, NPD
