BD, I looked at the web site,considered it to be propaganda, and moved on to something else.My problem with your, and others, take is that you have zeroed in on Bush while making no mention of other politicians and present office holders which have done, and are doing, worse things than Bush.I consider all forms of drug activity to be wrong, especially the manufacturing and selling of them. There are varying degrees of use but none of them are good. At least, Bush admits he did wrong and quit long before even contemplating running for any political office. He is intent on punishing the dealers more than the "first time" offenders. Quite often though, the youthful offenders also are pushers to finance their own habit. If they take the risk, they are liable to get caught up in a raid and prosecuted as pushers. That's the luck of the draw. Be that as it may,Bush is far less the hypocrite than those presently in the WH and many current members of congress. So your singling him out for condemnation shows a clear bias. I think you know where you can put your biased opinions. I have had the same said to me for my biased opinions. Hell!!all opinions are biased!!Otherwise they would be actual facts and most of your or mine are not that.
I might add that no drug laws are wrongheaded. Drugs are against the law and had Bush been caught he would have been prosecuted. He is just one of millions who did not get caught. If your friends got caught committing an obvious crime, they must not be very smart...TD |
