INFOTECH Enterprises Ltd, a Hyderabad-based world leader in GIS and CAD software, announced that it has successfully completed the first phase of joint application development on a leading edge software project with Mannesmann Passo, Germany. GeoLogic, Infotech's proprietary navigation engine, was the core component of this project, said a release here on Friday. The company has already commenced development work of the second phase.

"We feel very pleased to be associated with Mannesmann Passo in this important project and expect to receive more development work from them in these cutting edge areas in the near term. We will continue to leverage our GeoLogic navigation engine to deliver high-quality, affordable software solutions for appropriate areas of application globally," said Mr B V R Mohan Reddy, managing director.

Mannesmann Passo, Dusseldorf, is a subsidiary of Mannesmann Eurokom, and part of the euro 9.7-billion Mannesmann AG.
