Yep Carolyn DOTCOM channells some funny ones thru me huh. Wouldn't feel right taking the credit. When I saw that link you showed from Our Favorite (Not!) Thread was ROFLMFAO HOWLING and my fingers couldn't type buygnet fast enuf to keep up with DOTCOM's input am LOL'ing myself still now about it.
We got blips aplenty just with Mustardpiece, TunaBoat, levys, webnodes, MM's, Privacy, Go2netrillionnairress, trouble with Webmeisters, Duckhunting, LOLs and then there's The Reminder and Patriotic Holiday Posts & Bud Foxx & Prayers & Real Life stories & Families so much realgoodstuff from realnicepeople etc. - so many Scenes From Someone's Movie just on here back on Techride not to mention what our Star Occasional Guests, SIers-in-exile and Pals-Or-Not Pals from Other Threads could throw into the pot 2 Share The Experience!
Time 4 Another Index Mebbe!
So Hey Whaddyathink if Russel doesn't wanna make A Movie then maybe TECHRIDE should make one!! AOLs gotten lotta publicity on YouveGotMail and their movie wasn't rock 'n roll and stockstufferly and poignant and Jedistic and petloving and grabbing grubs and hilarious like OURS would be. It wouldn't even be so difficult or expensive to make a simple one in the style of BlairrWitchProject, Those Kids are Rolling In It Now. We'd get to go to Venice and Aspen and MonteCarlo Filmfests together to show it off too... then some Big would buy The DistributionRights, Polish It and Add The Soundtrack (we already got the soundtrack pretty much figgered out!) and Mick and Dick and even Stevie (if that'd make the guys happy) could sing for us Live In Person @ Techstock 2000; what fun. After that we'uns could just c'mon in, set a spell, take our shoes off. We'd just hafta Give Autographs, collect them Biggie Bucks, get our disguises together to go Incognito In Public when we want, and Bask In The Limelight when we want. Talking About Whatever We Want. Making Money While Having Fun & Getting Away With It - Bidness As Usual! Picturing Techriders all dressed up or not whatever, gettin' out of stretch limos in sunglasses so the popping flashbulbs don't make us half blind, comin' down the runway for Opening Night Previews, our prints in cement in front of Graumann's, getting All Verklempt on Oscar Night, writeups from WSJ to Globe, Blue finally gets to meet Maria ... cantcha see it now?!?! Best of all we'd all finally meet each other and it shouldn't hafta cost us a cent!!! Heck, we'uns R Internet Stock Swells & so we could gather enuf bucks in a month from netnut profits once we get determined & put our heads together. First the soundtrack (check, so a lawyer gathers the permissions and arranges the royalty payments) then the script (off to a start it could be ready by next week As Is cut and paste) then the sets (check, all we need is plane tickets following good weather and some portable computers) then the story (the process is the plot, check) then the omens and animals (film 'em live, check) then the characters (yeah we resemble that remark, check) then the equipment (shouldn't cost too much) then some art stuff (graphics & animation, we got it &/or know people, check)...then B4 U Know It Here Comes This Fat@ss Surrealist HOLD ONTO THE BAR Mega-Movie about Stock Thread TragiComedies As We Know It U Hafta Just Be There (yep that's the hard part). Getting up the capital together could be as EZ as takin' pop bottles back to the store IF EVERYONE WOULD ONLY PUT THEIR LIVES ON HOLD AND COOPERATE (uh oh there's the rub Fuggeddabouddit).
