Michelle -- don't know where you're coming from but must dare to say CA doesn't pay 10X what TX does on schools. As for houses being 30X more expensive in CA --please! Am I to believe the average teacher in TX lives in a $100,000 home and the average teacher in CA must pony up $3,000,000 for similar digs. I know better. Personally. I mean no disrespect but must ask if you are a CA teacher or teacher's union official. I'll be glad to consider any facts you present but please be able to verify them.
