I can understand your sentiment. That kind of thing happened to me, and as a result I did a lot of research on Technical analysis, risk management, and options strategies.

I see a good deal of risk in the market in general so, I went to cash recently. I just started putting on some small positions in stocks I have been watching.

I'm not sure if it means anything but, There was a net positive money flow into PRXL friday, even though the price dropped. The way it seems to me is that institutions have to "break" something, to accumulate it cheap. They break the will of people who have held through steep declines by depressing prices for extended periods of time. Many end up selling at the bottom out of frustration. Your CC strategy is a good repair. You're making time work for you. If I had more money to invest, I would have put on a larger position and hedged myself with some CC's. Read that thread I linked last time, it will help you with timing (very important) and options strategy (in general). I haven't been writing options because my positions are too small still, and the commisions too high, even with my on-line broker (waterhouse approx $100 round trip). I may switch to e-dreyfus for better options commisions.
