Hello every one
It looks like more than 56% of the high quality stones (FALC is 70% gem quality) got missed by the X-Ray machine. Someone looked in the pile and found lots of stones. This puzzled them and now they will go back and check (by hand?)all sortex processed tailings. The number of carets per ton can not go down! And could go up, way up! If values are the same or better then we have really good news here. How good...I'll tell you in three months. I think I'll work for two weeks for free now. And yes I'll bring the #2 shovel and the mule.
I checked and the S. African Gov't seized all diamonds for export or lab analysis or whatever. They wanted to increase the export duty. De Beers sat on it for months and didn't export anything. The S. African Gov't finally figured their revenue on diamond export went to ZERO! That's when they started to talk turkey and made a deal. Our diamonds got caught up in that on the way to Luc Rambouts. All in all this is pretty darn good news except for the wait.
