AR read this:
By trying to sell Nucleus through 3rd party channels SNDT is digging its own grave. Why because those 3rd party companies are HUGE like IBM and Wylie. I work for a company like that and it's like working for the government. There is so much red tape that it's very frustrating sometimes to do your job. Your sales people are probably good but they are burning themselves out looking at the slow pace of the "process". they go to endless meetings and watch with despair as everything crawls at a snails pace. At the end of the day they are so fed up that they drown their tears in a dilbert cartoon. IT DOES NOT WORK. If something doesn't work I have a simple philosophy, take out the axe, start chopping and throw it away. You need direct sales people on a 2 to 3 year contract with commission so good that they won't be able to sleep at night and will come to work salivating like dogs! It's a great product and all you have to do is get the word out there. You don't need the big guys, there is a 100 little banks in the US and a 100 little insurance companies that could use your product and they will listen to you. Merill Lynch or TSE will run test for two years before they implement anything like that. Sand doesn't need big sales. It needs ten little sales to start building momentum. We need sales, sales, sales!
