As some may know, I have harped on all the problems that LMT has had with their sat manufacturing biz. Well, SS/L has had its share as well. PAS 8 had 2 antennae put on backwards(major mistake). That wasn't all though. The sat went into an uncontrolled spin yesterday, but control was regained. Sounds very similar to the SCP failures of Hughes fame. Look for more capacity to be abruptly removed from the Asian region someday.
