My pre-1991 toaster has survived all the test dates so far ie. 01Jan1999, 01Apr1999, 01Jul1999, 21Aug1999, and 09Sep1999.

Are there other dates before the BIG date of 01Jan2000 I need to worry about?

Has our Canadian government made any plans to protect our toast next year like the US government, or do we rely again on our great neighbour to the south to look after our toast, like we do with Norad?
