My problem is obvious now: its the 'Gann factor'

LOL... I always laugh at people who try and sell Gann as an analysis tool. Everytime I meet a Gann TA person I get them to draw the Gann lines on the chart. Then I change the Y-axis or X-axis and ask them to draw the Gann lines again....guess what....they draw different lines and get different sell/buy points. In other words Gann is even more subjective than Elliot Wave. In fact I think Gann was full of it and the technique is useless. On the other hand, Elliot wave taking in the proper context can add some good information.

I find it amusing how the legend of Gann has grown over the years. People selling Gann software try to tell you he retired one of the most successful traders in history with a fortune greater than $50 million dollars. In reality, when he died his entire estate was auctioned off and was worth just over $100,000. What is even funnier is that he made most of his $100,000 teaching classes on his Gann analysis system....go figure.

Best Regards
KEITH
