Call me crazy, but I think people need to be where their picks get the most exposure. Let's face it, the more followers one has, the better chance of the momentum being created carrying on long enough for the equity to come up on some screens. I have seen that on some IRC channels. The rooms have hundreds of folks happy to be second and third tier buyers. The smaller sites have less exposure and often our screens are so full with charts, L2, broker sites, etc adding another window is not as easy as some think even with 2 puters.
I visited Wayne's Stock Pit, tho nice and private, it seemed the chosen issues didn't move like they did on SI, <Sorry Wayne> and to make matters worse, the @#$% site times out. I think TJ, Tony, and Jenna have proven that SI can move stocks.
I will be singing a different tune however, if these guys are dumb enough to close off the classic site. I do not have the time or the inclination to wade through SI 10 at a time, when with my beloved BrowseMaster, I can fly thru the boards.
