<<<I've heard the phrase "no business plan" more than once this week. ("Just patents"; "have to get into manufacturing", etc.)

If Amati's GOT a good business plan, please tell those "head honchos" to take a copy of it with them to Boston.>>>

Walt --

I would consider the sources when you hear these flip comments. Do you really believe Amati has no business plan? Their chairman of the board is Jim Gibbons, former dean of Stanford's School of Engineering, and member of several world-class boards, including Cisco's; one of the board members is Don Lucas who founded National Semiconductor and financed Oracle, Cadence Systems, and many others; Jim Steenbergen has been CEO of several large companies before coming to Amati; and Ron Carlini has been writing business plans for so many years he can do them in his sleep and his attention to detail is legendary.

Check out their bios: amati.com

Do I need to suggest they take a business plan to Boston? Hardly. I think there's more than one person down there who reads this forum. :)

Cheers!

Pat
