Do you have data for re-entering the market? The 12 week rule sounds contrived, and I see no Bearish sentiment registered above ~36% in this data set. In other words, is the converse true -- that when bearish sentiment reaches >55%, a bottom has been reached? I have all my mutual funds in cash, and am reluctant at this point to reenter stock funds, despite the talk of a current near term rally. I would be interested in seeing the 1990 data, also.
Nice idea for a thread.
