don't know why your m/f club is concerned oil may 'reach cpi & ppi' in next report. food and energy are always excluded (and explained away every report) since they aren't part of the core rate of inflation in either index. hasn't your investment club heard that we don't need 'volatile food or energy' to live our inflation free lives?
