Have to disagree with you, Mark. Nothing wrong with shorting a stock. It is really kind of Darwinian, when you think about it. And ultimately, the fundamentals will win out; if Valence really does have proprietary technology, and if Valence really does have the manufacturing kinks worked out, then all the short-selling in the world won't make a damn bit of difference to the stock price. Selling things that are overpriced is the market's way for forcing prices back to their equilibrium. It is painful but necessary.
