To all:
I am still confused by Strathcona's talk of "faulty samples". What does faulty samples mean? I read the comments in the FCX 10K report with a collegue and we both have the impression that if the report is accurate Bre-x must have hired Strathcona prior to the FCX results. Therefore the comments on the faulty samples must have been related to Bre-x work and not FCX.

I imagine Strathcona said to Bre-x about Bre-x results - these look suspicious to us. Bre-x could not defend their position to Strathcona who then required an audit to clarify the situation. Was it coincidence that Strathcona and FCX information hit the street simultaneously? If Bre-x hired Strathcona before the FCX results were known, why did they?

I believe, or want to believe that Bre-x is not culpable. But the two big questions in my mind are the Strathcona situation and that FCX has remained silent on their drilling and assaying methods.

Anybody care to comment?
