Only one observation here. Isn't it great that we only go to war with all the "new" HITLERS
that pop up every now and then? Sometimes we don't know that our new adversaries are "Hitlers" until about
a week before we start shipping off our boys. It's a good thing that we're always the "good guys", isn't
it? John Wayne would be proud. Personally, I become very suspect when the news media starts
using the word "Hitler" about anybody, because it's just an indicator to me that we're about to get involved
in somebody else's war again. Of course, in theory, we should be sending troops over to Ireland too, just
to break up that little "skirmish", right?. Anyhow, these are not political observations, pro or con, but observations about
media manipulation thru the use of trigger words like "Hitler", or in the case of WACO, words like "cult
leader". Isn't the POPE a "cult leader"too. Well, the media will probably never say that about the POPE,
even though he dresses up a lot like ELVIS (minus the hat, of course)......al |
