Message 11224932 RBC is getting worse all the time unless you don't mind paying the extra commish and use the phone.Commission errors all the time.I hate to say this but check everything you do with them.Oh and buy the way it is getting to be an even harder company to try and daytrade with as they have tightened the rules and adherence to settlements...So now I am using greenline and Scotia more. The local ofice in Halifax of greenline was very good and still are on execution but one of the order takers is getting that"don't bug me attitude now" or the "now what do you want"....The rest are very good.......Walter Chow and Judy Ross are excellent. Scotia, well I only use the phone there also and am trying to open an account also for a friend...what a sincere hassle.The client had a bunch of old cert's and asked me to check on them.2 companies are still active but have changed names so I completed the app and took it to the local branch(they are great there).Now I checked off Margin and short just for the fun of it and set up PA(Power of Attorney ) and TA(Trading Authority)...... Well I got a call from some Maria and I was so peeved after talking to her that I felt like saying just send the stuff back to me.She was so demanding..."What do you want the short account for?" "Who is PA?" Who is TA?....."have to send back and have the PA done over and have the share certs signed" I go to the branch the next day and they have sent back forms for me to go have the client sign so the certs can be converted....that is fine...that was my error......BUT....what an attitude.....If they don't want the business they should put that in their adds...
