DANFORTH AIMING FOR GINSBERG SUNDAY SHOW FEAT; WACO WATCHERS IRATE! John Danforth was planning to go fishing this weekend. Instead, the former Republican senator who was appointed this week to conduct a new investigation into the 1993 Branch Davidian siege at Waco is set to appear on all five Sunday TV news shows -- a feat matched last by Monica Lewinsky's former attorney William Ginsberg! Danforth will appear on ABC's "This Week", CBS' "Face the Nation", NBC's "Meet the Press", CNN's "Late Edition" and "Fox News Sunday". This development has caught congressional insiders and well-placed media observers off-guard -- many of whom openly praised Danforth this week for his no-nonsense approach to the law. "What is this," one angry Waco insider emailed the DRUDGE REPORT. "This is not an issue to be spun on the tube over and over. The less we see and hear from [Danforth], the less corrupt I'll assume his investigation is... This is not an auspicious start."
