BP, I can't get to excited about MRVC's announcement... first of all, they're not a player in the router market; second the product is being pre-announced way ahead of schedule (a sign of desperation); but mostly, no one is going to care that it runs Linux. The product will have to win based on price-performance, feature set, capabilities, that sort of thing... Linux is a battle over on the OS side... in the router market it's a nit. I'd give MRVC a brownie point or two for some creative marketing and spec sheet writing (plus for convincing Van Kasper to hype their stock), but not much else. -PAT
