In December, I plan to buy Jan 2001 or Jan 2002 strike 100 leaps. May be about 20 to 30 contracts. I need to know one thing. Let us as part of the outcome of the trial, MSFT splits to 3 companies. Then what happens to my leap options? Will they get split proportionately to three companies. How does this work? Any examples?
