Marginmike: A joint venture with a major European company as a means of getting CDMA launched in Europe and a broad alliance might be worth it. That would be particularly if the Q kept majority control and the ability to walk away (as it did with Sony) if prudent.

My points were two:

The opportunity in handheld wireless devices is huge IMO and think the Q would be wise to keep its hand in - if you will pardon the expression.

Management will decide - and based on its track record I am comfortable that the decision will be sensible.
