Thread, my youngest son is in prison because of problems stemming from drugs. Paul has put him on the prayer list and apparently some newer members to the thread are not familiar with the situation. For those who are interested, here is the original post #4242.
Say what you will about Emile, and I'm not trying to kick up dirt, but he issued for us a beautiful prayer for our son. After my wife read it, thru her tears she said this, "No one has ever prayed that sincerely for Michael." Needless to say she was well please with his response as was I. Others also prayed and we are thankful for that. Emile's prayer touched our heart in a profound way. We appreciate it much and reread it from time to time. We love all Christians who post on this thread and thank you for your concern and prayers.

David---I just read about your son in prison. As soon as I read I started to weep. I could see your darling little boy that you held in your arms as a baby and a young child. You and your wife's heart must be broken.
I want to pray for you right now as the Holy Spirit leads. Lord, You said in Your Word that we should come to Your throne of Grace with boldness. We come Lord. We cover ourselves with the blood of Jesus, Lord. Because of Jesus Lord, we can present our petitions. Father, we know that you have more love for DAvid's son that anyone of us could ever have. We do not understand, Lord, all the tricks of satan. We do not understand the fullness of your wisdom Lord. Oh, Father, we even lack faith to heal and cast out demons as you gave us command. Help thous Father our unbelief. We present
David's son on the throne of grace. We pray in Jesus's name Lord that you free him from the deceiving spirits. Father, we pray in Jesus's name that you send the Holy Spirit upon him.
Lord, you said that the evil one comes to kill and to steal and to destroy but you have come that we may have life and have it more abundantly. FAther, please let that abundant life flow into David's son.
Father, you have also said that whatever things we pray for, if we can believe we will have them. Help our unbelief Lord.
We believe and we trust in the blood of Jesus to restore and bring a deeper fellowship.
Thank you Father. Thank you Lord Jesus. Thank you Holy Spirit. All honor and glory are yours now and forever.
Lord we love you and we Worship YOu. Father, do not let your Word return void.
