Stew: Many, many thanks. That gives me a perfect excuse to stick to my telecom equip concentration and nibble at Gemstar. Just what I needed.

As many here are well aware, I tend to get in what I think are excellent bets to become gorillas early on. This is based on my experience in the early days of Intel, Microsoft, Cisco et al which I spotted initially because I was looking for tech companies in semiconductors, software and networking respectively in rotation and in that order. They looked like the leaders when still very young. Of course this was long, long before there ever was a GG book.

So I sometimes kick at the GG traces. But since I am reading the new manual, I am reminded that waiting and waiting and waiting and.....is not always best even within the GG framework. But then I interpret the book in somewhat different terms than others here..

But guess I am just a rebel at heart.
