jbe,if it took you a half hour to type that,you must be almost as bad on a typewriter as I am. For a message like that,I would take 20 minutes to type it and another 20 to correct all the typos.

I do not think that regulars should carry any more weight that anyone else.That would defeat the purpose of these threads but,you are not aware of what transpired before this last hassle came along that has not endeared me to Steve. I was posting to another poster,had never even seen Steve's name on any of the threads I had been participating in,and,all of a sudden he burst on the scene with some sort of new age,surfer babble and began by calling me "dude". Where I come from that is one of the most aggregious insults one can give.That fact added to the later knowledge on how far apart we were on matters of Faith and Christianity caused my wanting to "clean his plow" at every opportunity. The reason the number of posts from him will probably exceed mine is because I don't jump in unless I feel there is a good reason for me to do so. That reason may not make sense to others but, I am not one to care a bunch about what others think of my decisions.I do not try to force anyone to believe as I do but will not tolerate their interference in my holding and stating my position.

You may have wasted some time in posting your message but it did give me an opportunity better clarify what happened. I have no problem with any newcomer as long as he doesn't begin by getting "in my face"....TD
