That really put a smile on my face. I strongly suspect that the double entendre surrounding the term "bandwidth" was intentional on your part. Right? This is probably one of the few times in my career when someone has accused me of coming up short on the stuff.

I appreciate the acknowledgements, by the way, and hope that the thread yields some benefits for others. Although, I would be the first to agree with your assessment that an improved search facility would be a much better alternative for fetching information from a specific author or author-topic combination.

On numerous occasions in the past I've attempted with little success after spending much time attempting to find:

- one of your excellent tutorials on DOCSIS- or Cable Security- related matters; or,

- one of Bernard Levy's admonitions to others about the dangers of speculating in fly-by-night wireless companies (Hi, Bernard!); or,

- one of AHhaha's inimitable tomes on the ills of fairness seeking and the dependency of American Life on regulation;

...when a simple search tool would have done the job in no time. Needless to say, I've written to the webmistress in the past about getting a better search engine installed. But those of us who became grandfathers at an early age don't complain too loudly, if you know what I mean.

Thanks again for the kind thoughts and for starting this thread. I hope it lives up to your expectations.
