Joel Gander. Re: "as to rukeyser....well.... you can't beat him for persistance in his outlook.. I agree Rukeyser has been persistent for a couple of decades now. The comment on Y2K however, came from his guest, who had been (or been briefed on) numerous tech conferences in the past two weeks. The action on Friday may be tied into those tech conferences and Y2K "nerves", which have been holding some stocks back, may have started to abate.

This is more about market psychology than fundamentals. CA will rise or fall on fundamentals (over the long run anyway). Stay tuned.
