You are right on track my good friend!

Man in the flesh is only 6-7,000 yrs.....Earth is not only 6-7000 yrs. old, it is far older than that, and science proves this out.

Gen.1
1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
(beginning is not specified!!)
2And the earth was without form,.... Was = became.. in the Hebrew. This is a very deep study, but....I am sure you would benefit from and understand it tremendously! I believe you have eyes to see and ears to hear!

You are also absolutely right on target with your thoughts of Adam:
The traditions and teachings of man have led much of humanity far from the truth of God's word.

Gen.2:5
5And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground....Eventhough He had already created man?...But... no man to till the ground? Fishers and hunters....but no farmers?

This is also a fairly deep but a much more simplistic study.
You will need to have a fairly good working knowledge of Hebrew...or in the alternative, A Green's interlinear Bible...Or at least a Strong's Concordance, and a lot of time to devote. But O...what reward.!

Have a good evening
Shalom...><>
