Easy, Down by 1 at the half the SKINS torch Dallas for 22 in the 3rd, only to have Dallas score 21 in the 4th! 10 4th quarter SKIN points negated by a fumble falling into the endzone and a botched short field goal attempt! OT here we come!
Ask any Cowboy fan that watched the game...they got beat physically and were extremely lucky to pull this one out! However, I will agree that my SKINS "blew it"...gulp, I finally got it out!:-)
Honestly though, it was one hell-of-a game!!! Check out some of these stats...
Ache-man goes 28 of 49 for 362 yards, 5 TD's, and 3 picks...Johnson throws 20 of 33 for 382 yards, 2 TD's, and no picks!
Smith carried 23 times for 109 yards and 1 TD...Davis carried 24 times for 109 yards and 2 TD's!
Irvin catches 5 for 122 yards, big deal! The SKINS' Albert Connell caught 4 for 137 yards, AND Michael Westbrook added 5 for 159 yards!!!
The "Big-Jack" was rocking with a record crowd of 79,237 fans as the SKINS outplayed the Boyz and have no reason to hang their heads! At over 500 yards apiece for both teams, this has got to be the best and most exciting game of the week...I'm so hoarse from screaming and cheering that I almost forgot this was ONLY the opener!!!
WOW...look out NFL, the Beasts of the East are BACK!!!
