what it's like to be a god... According to some traditions man and women became god like by eating the fruit of knowledge. ;) The question can still be asked, How much control could an omnipotent being have without showing his actions to us mortals? That is to ask, Could God be guiding things gently behind the scenes so subtly that we don't detect it?. Again, in the absence of a deterministic world, chaotic events would have to be corrected using a force greater than that of the deviation. It would also require an additional force to stop the correction when things were back in tolerance. Any goal oriented activity of these forces would appear as a non-random distribution at the levels that we can measure. This is straying a bit far from the topic of evolution and into physics. TP
