Well, we certainly aren't giving criminals a good enough reason not to continue their ways. Maybe I'm just screwy that way, having been shot at before. Maybe I'm just too thick headed to realize that these people just need tender loving care rather than harsh punishment, and that it's those evil guns that made them shoot at me, not their own free will to pull a trigger. All Jokes aside, I do think we are responsible as a society. It's now PC to hate guns and rehabilitate these "victims" who have been downtrodden by the rich and successful. Hey, when I started out, I had to settle for a crappy, low paying job. I didn't run off and rob banks, steal cars or mug people. These people aren't victims, they're just the ones who have taken the easy way out, and why not? All they get is the proverbial slap on the wrist.
