Frank,

Just an FYI, I forwarded your post regarding the options to Yahoo message board.

I remember reading it and thinking that it reflected as a positive on the company rather than a negative on insider sales.

I also agree with your analysis that it substatively improves their financial position.

Here are some other thoughts:

Insiders, as often as we would like to give them credit for knowing the future often don't. Witness Cendant's dutch auction for 22.5 per share and the current share price of roughly 17. Another holding that I used to have CHKP had Deb Triant, once a big cheese for North American operations, selling a hefty piece of stock at $30. CHKP is now valued in the 90's.

They are human and when seeing an inordinate rise in their stock want to jump ship and make a fast buck but the reality is that they still all have jobs and need to execute a sales strategy.

I would contend that they (The insiders) really don't know the potential of the Pokemon phenomenom. It is very difficult to believe and/or understand.

Additionally, the only person who has a feel for understanding the appropriate price (Valuation) is an analyst that does an earnings projection followed by the dividend stream model on price.

I'm not an official analyst, but I have done some projections, and the stock is still reasonably priced given its probable earnings potential.

The hard part is to have the discipline to let the future become the present and then the past. The test will be in the earnings of 3rd/4rth qtr and release of a Pokemon movie that will presumably drive sales.

I basing all of my projections on the Ninja Turtle phenomenom that indicate a 5 year life span.

Do you believe that the insiders did the same? Probably not. This is where we really see the test.
