FMK, and others, your informative posts are most welcome. Ultralife Batteries was also down 1 1/8 today (4/3/97). It could be some are jumping ship to leave the USS Uncertainty to catch the strength today in other areas of the hi tech arena, and/or it could be the other battery news that SI'ers are so good to share with us. Valence stock needs some good news to go north on. There is a concerted effort by the company to not spice the stock with ebullient news releases. If they have some big fish sniffing the bait, they certainly don't need to boast. I've always wondered how they expect to feed the zinc/air battery with air. I can come up with many comical imagined senarios, but they're too obvious to waste finger energy to write them. Besides, being cavalier is dangerous. The nasdaq showed good strength today against the dow. Is this the first signal that small caps are going to do an about face and race north? Gordon
