Got a reply from Mr. Covell today. I had initially inquired about a coupon program for ColoCARE. Said that I would be happy to place coupons and brochures outside of our med center at work. Have already done so with Cholestrak coupons and the response has been pretty good. Here's what Ed had to say today: Mr. Presti: As yet we are not distributing brochures for ColoCARE since we do not yet have meaningful distribution in drug stores. Coupons would only have value if consumers could find the product in stores. Sales of Cholestrak are slowly picking up. We have seen a very positive (albeit preliminary) reaction to our new national radio advertising. We share your concern over FDA approval of the HIV test. As I have been explaining for some time, the FDA has not surfaced any problem with our application. They report that they have had personnel turnover on our review team which has caused the delay. They expect to respond to us "very soon". There will, of course, be a press release when there is any significant news. For the most part, Selfcare will not be able to get regulatory approvals in Europe until we have FDA approval in the US. Revenues will begin after they get local approvals. Thanks for your interest.
