Still no charges?

Sorry, I was out last Friday on the THIRD weekly anniversary of the raid without charges filed.

A few thoughts...

1) The longer we go without charges, the more likely the RCMP will get wrapped up in hockey season and forget about SNMM completely.

2)I also think the liklihood of serious charges diminishes as time goes on. How would it look to the public to allow SNMM to continue to violate the law, according to the RCMP, for weeks after the RCMP raid?

3) What is the statute of limitations for gambling crimes in Canada? If I remember correctly, the undercover mounties placed their bets in 1998. I believe the U.S. statute of limitations is around 2 years for misdemeanors?
