Fuchi; Whew! You are aware of something that I wasn't. Thanx!

I also have a more subtle indication. For the last couple of weeks, Mercury News has had from 1 to 3 "good" news stories on Intel, everyday. It appears that Intel is trying very hard to "talk-up" their stock price. I thought they were doing late damage control of their Insider Selling and the general down trend of the Technology Market. Now it makes more sense that they are doing "damage control" on more bad news.

My thoughts now are as follows:
1) I expect that Intel may announce less than glamorous earnings tomorrow or early next week. Like most/many of the large stocks do to try to defuze a complete crash of their stock.
2) I would buy those Puts (all of them) now.
3) The $130 puts for April are probably high enough; but if you can afford the $135s they should give you a better profit.
4) Also, buy the $130 or $120 or even $110 Puts for July, October and next January now while the stock price is still going up. It will minimize your cost.
5) I would not wait to get much closer to the 4/14/97 Announcement day, since I expect we'll either see News releases or leaks that will start the stock down before then -- this will just increase the cost of the puts.

Again remember the above IMHO, and I am not an expert. Just an observer and hobbyist.

Good trading;

The ROM
