Carbite Golf Announces Fuzzy Zoeller, Former Winner of Masters and U.S. Open, Will Play Carbite Clubs and
Serve as Spokesperson

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 13 /CNW/ -- Carbite Golf (Vancouver: CAB)
announced today that Fuzzy Zoeller, owner of two major titles, the 1979
Masters Tournament and the 1984 U.S. Open, and one of the most popular players
on the PGA Tour, has agreed to play Carbite Golf clubs, carry a Carbite bag as
well as serving as marketing spokesman for the Company.
"We are very pleased to announce that Fuzzy Zoeller will be the
centerpiece of Carbite Golf's marketing strategies," said Michael
Spacciapolli, President of Carbite Golf. "Fuzzy will lead the way to
introducing the golfing community to our technology."
Frank Urban Zoeller, known to everyone by his nickname Fuzzy, is the
winner of eight PGA tour events, including the Andy Williams-San Diego Open
Invitational, the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and the Anheuser-Busch
Golf Classic. His victory at the U.S. Open at Winged Foot included an 18-hole
playoff victory over Greg Norman. He was only the third player in golfing
history to win his first Master's start. Zoeller also has represented the
U.S. on the Ryder Cup team three times.
"Fuzzy interacts so well with the golfing public. We are delighted that
he will be representing our golf company," said Spacciapolli. Zoeller will
carry the Carbite Golf bag and play 10 clubs manufactured using Carbite Golf
technology, including its popular wedges and famous Polar Balanced putter.
Terms of the five-year deal were not released, although they do involve cash
and stock options.
Carbite Technology is based on advanced powder metallurgy, which allows
molecular bonding of dissimilar materials. The patented technology permits
golf club design with a "material advantage" that dramatically increases
putter moment of inertia and maintains optimum back spin for wedges, irons and
woods. The Carbite product line includes Polar Balanced Putters, CheckMate
Putters, Tour Insert Wedges, Tungsten Tour Irons, and Carbite Woods. For
