Sharar..are you familiar with Wm.Jiler classic book titled "How Charts can Help you in the Stock Market"? It was first published in 1962 and it's most recent printing is 1999. In chapter 13 he discusses market averages and on pages 163 and 164 he shows patterns in the DJ and S&P500 that seem similar to what we're seeing these days especially out of the Aug time frame in '59 and Sept/Oct in '60. What impressed me when I saw these was how repetitive the market can be over the years. As far as having these charts in your databank for other to 'guess' at... i'm afraid that since they're so far back in time... most folks wouldn't have access to the information. Laura Fun game... i might try again sometime!
