MM, i hereby GUARANTEE that nasty hedge fund news are just around the corner...they will probably begin to emerge once the stock market has had an extended sell-off. at this point everybody is still busy trying to keep a lid on what's going on, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that the widening of credit spreads and the rally in the Yen are likely to hit the most overleveraged players. witness the 100mio loss of GS's London subsidiary. if GS can lose a 100mil., others can lose a lot more. the leverage is going to bring down the house of cards in the end. the roof-tops are a-calling...
