Did you see him on CNBC today?

I agree with Tim Luke, CS is next networker to be taken out. With
Palm spun, I no longer look for IBM to acquire 3COM and think it will
take a year or two of better earnings before anyone else is interested
in acquiring 3COM. I had hoped that after the USRX merger 2 years
ago, 3COM could be a commodity dealer like Wal-Mart, but, with the
current management, they are just another Kmart.

Eric sounded like the spin-off was in prep for a merger or the like.
