Crude Oil sets a new (31 month) high:

13:01 [CL=V9] OCTOBER CRUDE JUMPS 52 CENTS TO $24.07 A BARREL, A NEW 31-MO. HIGH.

-

If this keeps up, it could get some notice by the FED <g>. ...not to mention continued price pressure on all consumers of oil.. Already been a big factor on the airlines and other transports.

Energy prices tend to get downplayed when reporting economic indices, due to the tremendous volatility of same. However, I don't think they should be ignored so much when oil prices continue to rise higher and higher..........
